Did I start anything already?

Yes, I loved doing this since when I knew I have to be the part of helping the community.  I created the WhatsApp groups with my friends and co-workers to raise funds after sometimes and help each part. We are doing it but never enough because the need is too high. The idea is to reach more and some videos are shared from what we have been doing time to time to help from food, clothing, school uniforms, school fees . There are 45 Children in the Endamararieki Village in Karatu district who had sponsors to help them but they died with Covid. Since that time they had very difficult life and I have been helping small but they need more. 

They need good House to live as they are now just living with different people as they cannot afford the renting of a big house. There is two acres land which was helped to but by the sponsors and now they are not there. I was thinking of start funding for them to get a home to live. Most of them are orphans and few of them from very poor family and three of them their mothers had mental health problem so they rescue them. They also don’t have water at all and the best is to drill for them underground water

We also did the payment of National health insurance for them for one year because it is very difficult for children when they are sick and they can not be taken to hospital due to lack of money. They are now happy to be treated in the hospital without begging for help. I will be happy to give the health insurance to them again after July when it expires

Volunteering

I and my friends make sometime to go stay with the Children, talk to them, listen to them and just for them to have someone around who they know is in love with them. I discovered that sometimes they just need a shoulder to lay on while crying, they just need a lap to put head before sleeping so as our children at home. 

We would like to invite Volunteers too who are interested to work with the children and different aspects within the community. As we are growing we would like to have even the volunteers who will work on economic perspectives like educating women and poor adults in the poor families on how to work from little they can have and get a step ahead and help improve the standard of life
